ACCREDITATION FORMALITIES for the journalists working at events held at Expocentre Fairgrounds
Accreditation of journalists shall be obligatory at all events held at Expocentre Fairgrounds regardless of the event’s status (whether it was organized by Expocentre or other organizers).
Accreditation passes to Russian media representatives are issued by Expocentre’s Press Service (Vystavochnaya metro station, Krasnopresnensya nab., 14, Сongress Centre, 2nd floor, Office 123, entrance from Krasnopresnenskaya naberezhnaya) any day during the exhibition working hours from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 15:00.
To obtain the accreditation, an applicant shall submit a letter made on the company’s letterhead with a signature of his/her chief and the stamp of the media outlet. Any other accreditation cards or staff passes shall not be valid for work at Expocentre Fairgrounds.
The Press Service organizes and holds press conferences on opening of Expocentre’s exhibitions. As a rule these events are held a day before the exhibition opening or on the opening day. Representatives of all accredited media (one per every media outlet) have the right to attend press conferences. Invitations are handed over during the accreditation.
Accreditation pass does not grant the right to attend press conferences and other events that require special invitations.
Journalists of electronic mass media shall obtain special passes to bring in and take out their equipment (permission to carry out shooting). To obtain the permission, it is required to present a letter from the editor (TV channel) containing the following information: name of TV channel, name of TV programme, expected time of broadcast, number of people in the group, name of the person in charge of shooting, date (dates) of shooting.
Foreign correspondents permanently working in Moscow with accreditation obtained in the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Russian Federation are permitted to enter the Fairgrounds and work at events upon showing the said accreditation.
All press representatives must submit to Expocentre’s Press Service all materials (or copies) devoted to events held at Expocentre Fairgrounds published or broadcasted by their media outlets.
Advertising agencies and publications do not have to obtain accreditation. Publishers and publishing houses can obtain accreditation only for journalists of their separate media outlets. The applicants shall submit letters made on those outlet’s own letterheads (see above).
